How to add a new lead in Pipedrive for a new email received in Gmail
Set the Gmail trigger as "Email received"
Every playbook starts with a trigger. The trigger detects changes in your connected apps and initiates your playbook's actions.
Click "Add trigger" and select "Email received" under Gmail automation. Then, select the necessary details. This will allow your playbook to automatically detect new emails received in Gmail and initiate necessary actions.
If this is your first time using a Gmail integration in Relay.app, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the "Get or add lead for person" in Pipedrive automation
Integrate the Pipedrive automation into your playbook to ensure the prompt addition of a new lead for the person for each specific email received in Gmail.
Click the "Add step" button, then locate the "Get or add lead for person" automation for Pipedrive and input the mandatory and relevant details.
If your Pipedrive account isn't already connected to Relay.app, you will be prompted to complete that connection. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay.app to sync with your Pipedrive account.
Activate your Relay.app playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step to automate the addition of a new lead for the person in Pipedrive. Once turned on, it will respond to new emails received in Gmail by adding the sender as a new lead in Pipedrive without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together and reminders are being sent correctly.
