How to automate updating your HubSpot deals whenever a new response is submitted in a selected Google Form
Set the Google Forms trigger as “Form response submitted”
Add the Google Forms trigger to initiate your playbook's actions before submitting a form.
To do this, click "Add trigger" in your playbook and select the "Form response submitted" trigger from the Google Forms options. Then, choose the specific form you want to work with (e.g., "Company"). This will allow your playbook to identify new form submissions and automatically perform the necessary actions.
If you still need to connect your Google Forms account to Relay, a prompt will guide you through the connection process.
Add the “Update deal” in HubSpot step
To ensure timely updates for your deals, it is recommended to integrate the HubSpot automation into your playbook. To add a step to your playbook, simply select "Add Step" and search for the "Create deal" automation. Then, fill in the required details such as Pipeline, name, stage, owner, associated contacts, and deal description.
After adding the first step, you can add another step to your playbook by selecting "Update deal" and then choosing a file from your HubSpot account, such as "Deal". Then, click on the relevant fields that you want to update and fill in the required details, such as the name and deal description.
If you have not yet connected your HubSpot account to Relay, you will be prompted to do so. Make sure to allow the necessary permissions for Relay to update company details through your HubSpot account.
Activate your playbook
Activating your playbook is the final step. Once turned on, it will respond to update HubSpot deals with Google Forms responses without manual intervention.
To enable your playbook, click the toggle button located in the header. It is advisable to perform a test run of your playbook beforehand to ensure all steps work seamlessly together.
